Mary and Joy from Primo Art Spa are offering some fun and creative activities for kids!

Puppet Plays for Elementary Grades 1-4: Kids will create their own puppets and characters and write a puppet play with the group and/or on their own. They will have a chance to direct their play and/or perform in it. Saturdays, 9:00 – 10:00, April 12 – May 10, 2014. Cost $50.

Scriptfrenzy for Middle Schoolers: Students in grades 5-8 will meet on Saturdays from 10:30 – Noon, April 12 – May 10, 2014. They can use puppets or real people for their plays. We may do some writing together, and they can work on original scripts as well. Cost $55.

Performances for these classes will be during their class time on May 10.

Classes meet at The Franklin Art Center in the Elemental Dance Studio, located on the 2nd floor.

Instructors: Joy Ciaffoni and Mary Aalgaard. Both sisters have extensive theatre experience. Joy is a creative costumer, actor and singer. Mary has written many scripts, including one full length drama, Coffee Shop Confessions, which she and her marvelous cast performed at local coffee shops in the spring of 2012. She also writes entertainment reviews for many professional and local theatres. Call Mary if you have questions 218-232-6069.
