Preschool Graduation

Ourย Sara just graduated from Preschool last week.

It was a proud moment.

Now, I hear tales from other moms of huge pomp-and-circumstance for this event. Moms sobbing. Dads jocking for position to get the perfect picture of their little darling leaving the stage clutching a crinkled mock diploma.

That’s great…but some of what I hear borders on fargin ridiculous.

Our “ceremony” was sitting “criss-cross-applesauce” and playing toys. Then our little graduates were herded to the park where they blew some steam for about an hour.

I thought that was the most perfectest ceremony ever ๐Ÿ™‚

Good job Saraboo ๐Ÿ™‚

How wonderful that they chose to keep it fun and informal!

ooooh! cutie pie! ๐Ÿ™‚ congrats mama!! you’re blessed you didn’t have to sit through a 1.5 hour program like i did (when we lived in miami beach). the upside is now my daughter knows how to belly dance and has two little bella (haha) dancing “scarves” that make the cute noises. ๐Ÿ™‚ wow. miami is all about the show i think. i like that we’re a bit more real here ๐Ÿ™‚
