I love a good “quote”.

You know, something positive, thought invoking, or just something that makes you go awwwwwwww…..that’s awesome.

OR.. makes you go “DANG…that one hit me right between the eyes! Let me get a pen QUICK.”

I’ve heard a TON of these this week so I’d like to share a few dandies with you.

You will recognize your own path when you come upon it, because you will suddenly have all the energy and imagination you will ever need.
-Jerry Gillies

Quote from new mom Sheryl Crow on the adoption of her son. “Wyatt is definitely all mine. Little souls find their way to you whether they’re from your womb or someone else’s (this one touched this adoptive Mommy’s heart)
From the ever-wise Shannon Janco in response to my new found love of sitting on my front steps at 6 a.m, slurping coffee, and gathering my thoughts. “Sitting on the steps – taking one step at a time – taking it all in – planning for the next move to the next step is just like living your dream. You take the same actions and you land on both feet!”

If you pick a niche, you lose some customers. If you don’t pick a niche, you lose ALL customers.
Naomi at Itty Biz. (Itty Biz is one of the better small business/social networking sites out there. Naomi is raw, she is real, and she truly knows her stuff. If you have an aversion to the F-bomb, you may want to avoid this, but I wouldn’t. Close one eye and read her stuff anyway. Super good info to be had here. Plus she is stinkin FUNNY)

Find your passion. When was the last time you were truly excited to start your day? If it’s been awhile then take the important steps to rediscover your interests, talents, and passions. You CAN be excited about life again. Find that thing, that thing that makes you juiced to get out of bed in the morning!”
Local Public Speaker Michelle Oie (Michelle is fabulous speaker and I highly recommend her. Give her a buzz at 746-4282 if you need a vibrant speaker for a function or Girls Weekend)

  1. I have a white board up in my kitchen that I write things on every once in a while. I was watching Oprah a few weeks back and she had some really good quotes I got off her show, from Rosie O’Donall actually. The First is “You can’t find peace ’till you find all the pieces.” Referring to adoption stories and it really hit me being adopted myself. And the next was ” Family is forever, family is love!” witch doesn’t need explaining =) The best part of this whole story is the other day I was walking past it and noticed something else had been written. “Never trust a fart.” By my HUSBAND! I almost fell down laughing! What a guy =)

  2. This is a quote I found and put on my FB page. Just LOVE it! It really hits home with me right now.

Courage is the power to let go of the familiar. ~Raymond Lindquist

  3. Here’s another good one I just saw today ” The Circumstances of your life have uniquely qualified you to make a contribution. If you don’t make that contribution, NOBODY else can make it”-Rabbi Harold Kushner
